This policy explains what The Liberous collects when you use theliberous.com, why, who it is shared with, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Order details: your name, email, shipping and billing address, phone number if you give it, and what you bought.
- Payment details: handled by our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.
- Account details: if you create an account, your login email and order history.
- Messages: what you send through the support form or the email sign-up.
- Device and usage data: collected by cookies and similar tools: pages viewed, the site that referred you, browser and device type, and approximate location from your IP address.
How we use it
- To make, ship and support your order, and to send order and shipping emails.
- To answer support requests.
- To send release news, only if you signed up for it. Every email has a way to stop them.
- To keep the site secure and working, and to understand which pages and products people use.
- To measure and show our ads on other sites and apps.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information for money. We share it only with the services that run the store:
- Our production and fulfillment partner and shipping carriers, to make and deliver your order.
- Our payment processor, to take payment and prevent fraud.
- Our website host and the WordPress and WooCommerce tools the store is built on, including their statistics features.
- Advertising and analytics partners such as Google and Snapchat, which use cookies and pixels to measure visits and show you more relevant ads.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
Targeted advertising and your opt-out
Sharing information with advertising partners so they can show you ads based on your activity across sites may count as a “sale,” “sharing” or “targeted advertising” under some U.S. state privacy laws. Depending on where you live, you can opt out:
- Visit with the Global Privacy Control signal turned on in your browser. Where the law applies, we treat it as an opt-out for that browser and device.
- Or ask us through the support form.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the store, like the cart, need cookies to work.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, get a copy, or object to how we use it. To make a request, use the support form. We may need to confirm your identity first. We keep order records as long as tax and accounting law requires.
Liberous Whisper
The Liberous Whisper app is a separate service. Your journal entries, mood check-ins and subscription live in the app, are private to your account, and are never used for advertising. Details are shown inside the app.
Children
The store is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Security
We use reputable providers and encrypted connections to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
