These terms cover your use of theliberous.com and any purchase you make here. “We,” “us” and “our” mean The Liberous. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
1. Your account
You must be at least the age of majority where you live to place an order, or have a parent or guardian’s permission. The information you give us must be accurate and current. You are responsible for keeping your login safe and for activity on your account, and you may not transfer it to anyone else.
2. Products
We show our products as accurately as we can, but colors can look different on different screens, and made-to-order pieces can vary slightly from one to the next. We can change product descriptions, discontinue products, or limit quantities at any time.
3. Orders
Placing an order is an offer to buy. Your order is accepted once we confirm it and your payment goes through. We can decline or cancel an order for any reason, including suspected fraud, pricing errors or stock problems; if we do, we refund any payment taken. Because pieces go into production quickly, we may not be able to change or cancel an order once it is accepted. Purchases are for personal use, not resale.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are in U.S. dollars and can change without notice. You pay the price shown when you place your order. Taxes are added at checkout where required. Standard shipping is free; see the Shipping Policy. You confirm that you are allowed to use the payment method you provide.
5. Shipping, returns and refunds
Delivery times are estimates. Once an order is handed to the carrier, the risk of loss passes to you, although we will still help with lost or damaged packages as described in the Refund Policy, which covers what we replace or refund.
6. Not medical advice
Liberous content, including the Pause · Notice · Choose practice and the Liberous Whisper app, is for personal growth and general wellbeing. It is not therapy, medical care or a substitute for a licensed professional. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, contact local emergency services or, in the United States, call or text 988.
7. Our content
The Liberous name, logo, designs, text, images, audio and the site itself belong to The Liberous or our licensors. You may use the site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, reproduce, sell or reuse any of it without our written permission.
8. Feedback and reviews
If you send us ideas, feedback or reviews, you let us use them freely, without payment or credit. Anything you post must be your own, lawful, and not abusive or misleading.
9. Third-party services
The site uses and links to services run by others, such as payment, shipping and analytics providers. We are not responsible for their content or practices; their own terms apply.
10. Prohibited use
Do not use the site for anything unlawful, to harass anyone, to send spam, to upload malicious code, to scrape or collect other people’s data, or to interfere with the site’s security. We can suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
11. Disclaimer
Except as stated in our policies, the site and products are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We do not promise the site will always be available or error-free.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, The Liberous is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or lost profits, arising from your use of the site or products. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the order involved.
13. Indemnity
You agree to cover our losses and reasonable legal costs from claims caused by your breach of these terms or your misuse of the site.
14. Errors
If the site shows a wrong price, description or availability, we can correct it and cancel affected orders, even after you order, and refund any payment taken.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the state where The Liberous is based, and the courts there have jurisdiction, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim locally.
16. General
If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a term is not a waiver of it. These terms and our policies are the whole agreement between you and us about the site. We may transfer our rights under them; you may not transfer yours without our consent.
17. Changes
We may update these terms by posting a new version here. The version in place when you place an order applies to that order.
